Checked in at my old Anatomy teacher’s private studio today for some portrait work… turns out there was no model to be had, so I wound up drawing him!

A warm-up post of sorts with a lighter (B) pencil…

Eyes: something to work on. I think I may have worked them too much in this case. C’est la vie.

Toning: something else to work on! This was a quicker sketch; I used, as for the previous one, a 6B pencil.

All in all, a good, refreshing morning… and now, for a good, refreshing smoothie! :)
